| Once the heads are "modified" you can still use the stock or for that matter different manifolds. The modification is not that big a deal - its just an EXTRA stud . It does no damage to anything else. Think of it like a 10 mm pimple on your face :). Att least its on both sides so it matches :) If you want to switch back you just screw in your stock stud back in and you are done. Here is what it costs Manifold(600 or whatever the price might be) + $80 for modification + $12 for studs for both sides. I agree that testing must be done thats why i'm doing it. If the MS manifolds are 1000 they are a great buy no doubt. If the JA manifolds cost 700 and flow the same or even a few % +- they are still a better deal. What if the JA flow more AND cost less ? Then undoubtedly they will be the better choice. I will bench flow test these - prolly by early next week . All i want to do is to make sure the test is similar to the ones done for other manifolds so there is no "issue" there. It took a while to find a machine shop willing to perform this test for me thats why the delay. After that i will be dyno testing the same. All i ask is to cut the guy a break - let the tests be the deciding factor. I'm just a customer like you - i want the best bang for the buck - its better for all of us you know :) Just for the record i have nothing against MS - i'll buy his manifolds if they are a better valve - just want to give this "other" option a chance.
